GWUA does not discriminate based on religion or religious views, and we welcome spirited discussion of divergent religious views that promote critical thinking and scholarly analysis. Therefore, we do not require students to sign a statement of faith in order to take courses with us. However, our instructors and the courses offered uphold the orthodox Christian faith formulated by the Church in its first 500 years:
• We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and atonement through
