FAQQ. Is there a nursery or children’s service available? A. YES, during Sunday Night Alive. We have loving nursery workers who will take excellent care of children through age 2 in our brightly painted nursery located just a few steps from our worship center. We also have a children’s Bible story time available for older children. But we want you to know children of all ages are always welcome in our service. In fact, our morning Gathering is designed for all ages to worship together. How will they ever learn how to worship unless they have the opportunity to observe their parents worshipping? For the church’s first 1900 years families met all together for worship and we love that tradition. Q. How long is the worship service? A. Our services are typically one hour and 15 minutes. The pastors’ message is 30-45 minutes, depending on the topic, but the time goes by quickly, mostly because of our pastors’ tag-team preaching style. Q. Is there a dress code? A. When we say “casual” dress, we mean just that. Church isn’t a fashion contest. Sunday should be a day when you can kick back and relax, spend time with your family or good friends, and worship God without having to spend an hour getting ready. You’re welcome to come in your jeans or shorts and t-shirt, or you can wear dress pants and a shirt with a collar. It doesn’t matter to us, and we think it probably doesn’t matter to God, either. Come so you’re comfortable. We won’t be looking at you and judging you by what you wear. |
